Özet
Wind energy has been well recognized as a renewable resource in electricity generation, which is environmentally friendly, socially beneficial and economically competitive. In this study Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Program is used to analyze the time series of daily average wind speed between 1975 and 2010 measured for 9 ground stations. Descriptive statistics applied on wind speed, temperature, air humidity and evapotranspiration. The statistical calculation show that the highest wind speed potential location in Muğla is Datça region. The profile of wind speed in Muğla is modeled by using Artificial Neural Networks (ANN) and Adaptif Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS). The ANN model consists of different configurations and 3-layer, feed-forward, back-propagation algorithm. Neural Networks functions of Matlab are used to design the best calibrated model. The model predicted wind speed values are given in the form of daily maps, which can be easily used for assessment of wind energy potential for different locations within the Muğla region. ANFIS model with the modeling of the different rules are used for the hybrid learning algorithm. Analysis are done for predicted models with the highest wind speed stations of Datça and Bodrum. According to results the province of Muğla district Datça station is reached a satisfactory conclusion. The shape of the simulated wind profile is found to be similar to the actual wind profile.
