In general, all these researchers submitted various classification of violence to the area and common point in these was the fact that violence had been changing according to the society and the historical period that the researcher dealt with. It is also clear from these researches that an individual learns violent behaviour through their education, with more precise words, during their socialisation process. Mass communication plays a vital role in accelerating these changes in behaviour of the members of the society. Almost all theoreticians agreed that an healthy, balanced society, means a society in where each member of it contributes, in a conscious manner, to solve the social, economic and cultural problems, not a society clear of conflict and violence. |
